After being heavily sampled in early industrial and hip-hop, a myth emerged that sampling Black Sabbath's 'Supernaut' brought bad luck to the sampling artist.
Originally called Earth, they changed their name after seeing a 1963 Boris Karloff film titled Black Sabbath across the street from their rehearsal room.
