Trivia
2
A myth persists that The Clash recorded a full album of reggae and dub tracks in Jamaica that was never released, allegedly due to label disputes. No evidence or tapes have ever surfaced.
Inspired by newspaper headlines of the time, Joe Strummer liked the word 'clash' for its energy and its suggestion of conflict and confrontation, both musical and political.
